Petra Meibert

Psychologist and Psychotherapist, MBSR/MBCT-Teacher Trainer, supervisor and author, co-founder of the Mindfulness-Center Ruhr, Germany.
Petra is certified by the Center For Mindfulness, UMass and has been trained in MBCT by Mark Williams and Ferris Urbanowski. She has been working as an MBSR/MBCT teacher and and as a teacher- trainer for more than 10 years. She has international training experience and was also involved in various research projects.

Petra has practised Mindfulness and Buddhist Meditation for 30 years and has experience with different traditions (Vipassana, Tibetan Buddhism, Dzogchen) and different teachers. She took part in a three year training in Buddhist Philosophy and Psychology with Tarab Tulku Rinpoche. She is currently participating in Mindfulness Meditation Teacher training program with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.
